Governing bodies
The constituent bodies of Fons Català are the General Assembly, the Executive Board, and the Standing Committee.
Fons Català is governed by an Executive Board of 27 local bodies that represent the political pluralism and territorial diversity of Catalan municipalism. The Executive Board consists of the representatives of the respective partner entities of Fons Català. Also, in order to speed up the daily management of the entity, the presidency, vice presidency, secretarial, and treasury positions constitute the Standing Committee, which is a smaller governing body responsible for resolving more pressing matters. The General Assembly, which sits annually within the first semester each year, is responsible for approving the proposal for the appointment of the Executive Board.
The primary functions of the Executive Board primary functions are the following: to execute the resolutions of the General Assembly; to carry out the management of the accounts, balance sheet, and budget to put it to the vote of the Assembly; to select cooperation projects and monitor them; to assess entry applications from new partners and to register them, where appropriate; to agree on the hiring and dismissal of employed personnel; and to designate the person who must hold the position of manager, among other aspects.

Advisory Board
The Advisory Board is an advisory body consisting of representatives of the Catalan organised civil society whose aim is to constitute a framework of stable relations with social agents in order to enable discussion on cooperation criteria and policies. It also aims to become a space to monitor the work carried out by Fons Català and promote joint actions to reach all citizens. The Advisory Board consists of the following entities:
